Felt the need to create something to celebrate the life of the phenomenal guitarist and musician Jeff Beck.Jeff brought an unbelievable approach and dynamic to his sound snd was hugely influencial and unique. Because he experimented with tone texure and expression, I thought I'd have a little play wuth different pencil and paint textures here. RIP Jeff.

Stranger Things (rough for Illustration)

Loose design for a Stranger Things Illustration I've just begun. The kids are older here, around season 4 age. Eleven is about to use her powers on an unseen threat. I thought it would be good if the ominous force from the upside down is reflected in the puddle she's standing in. I'm not sure what colour palette I'm going to use on this yet but that's where the fun is. Pencil on cartridge paper.

I love the costume designs from the movie 'Alien' by the amazing French Artist Moebius, so I've incorporated this into a scene where the Alien creature confronts Dallas.

Good Bye Major Tom – David Bowie Tribute

When an Artist of David Bowie's stature dies, it has a significant cultural effect. He was that influential. Probably my greatest musical hero apart from Jimi Hendrix. I produced this rapid pencil and digital sketch as soon as I heard the news, and many Illustrators were also uploading some really interesting and inventive pieces around that time. Here is my take.
